The Alwyn
The Alwyn is a delightful, vibrant take on the traditional Aperol Spritz, imbued with the freshness of pink grapefruit and the sweet, floral notes of elderflower.
Ingredients:
3 oz Prosecco Rosé, chilled
2 oz Aperol
1 oz pink grapefruit juice, freshly squeezed
1 oz club soda, chilled
A dash of elderflower liqueur
Grapefruit wheel, for garnish
Fresh rosemary sprig, for garnish
Edible flowers (such as pansies), for garnish
Instructions:
Fill a large wine glass or a spritz glass with ice cubes.
Pour in the Prosecco Rosé, Aperol, and pink grapefruit juice.
Add a dash of elderflower liqueur for a hint of floral sweetness that complements the bitterness of the Aperol.
Top with club soda and stir gently to combine.
Garnish with a wheel of pink grapefruit, a sprig of fresh rosemary, and a few edible flowers for an extra touch of elegance.
The Amara
The Amara is the perfect balance of heat from the jalapeño, the tropical flavors of pineapple and rum, the refreshing hint of mint, and the unique herbal notes from green chartreuse.
Ingredients:
2 oz high-quality white rum
1 oz green chartreuse
1 oz fresh pineapple juice
1/2 oz fresh lime juice
1/2 oz agave nectar
2 slices of jalapeño, seeds removed
3-4 fresh mint leaves, plus more for garnish
Pineapple slice, for garnish
Jalapeño slice, for garnish
Crushed ice
Instructions:
Muddle the jalapeño slices and mint leaves at the bottom of a cocktail shaker to release their flavors.
Add the white rum, green chartreuse, pineapple juice, lime juice, and agave nectar to the shaker.
Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously until well-chilled.
Double strain the mixture into a glass filled with crushed ice to ensure a smooth cocktail while keeping the vibrant green color.
Garnish with a pineapple slice, a jalapeño slice, and a sprig of mint.
